KARABAKH CONFLICT PARTIES NOT DEMONSTRATE ENOUGH WILL FOR COMPROMISE, OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIR THINKS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The reason for the unsettled status of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is that the conflict parties do not have enough will to compromise. OSCE Minsk group American co-chair Rudolf Perina has stated that in his interview with "Golos Americi" radio station. According to him, in 2001 at the negotiations in Key West, the parties were close to the agreement, but "they could not make it as to reach the final decision, the parties also need to have enough flexibility". the Minsk group co-chairs cannot make the parties to achieve peace that they do not agree to, the diplomat stated. "So the presidents of the two states need to achieve such a piece that is accepted as the final one by the two parties", Perina noted.
