Armenia: Active cases drop below 6000 for first time since May

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 196 to reach 41,495 on Saturday, August 15 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. The number of active cases has dropped below 6,000 for the first time since late May.

Fresh figures also revealed that 320 more people have recovered, three patients have died from Covid-19, while three others carrying virus have died from other causes in the past 24 hours.

183,789 tests have been performed since the beginning of the outbreak in the country, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 34,484 people have recovered, 817 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 242 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
