Armenia: Active Covid cases drop below 4000 for first time since May

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 188 to reach 44,649 on Saturday, September 5 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. Active cases, meanwhile, have dropped below 4000 for the first time since May 24.

Fresh figures also revealed that 566 more people have recovered, four patients have died from Covid-19, while three others carrying the virus have died from other causes in the past 24 hours.

A total of 2166 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 39,823 people have recovered, 895 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 275 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
