Coronavirus cases in Armenia closing in on 45,000![]() September 7, 2020 - 11:08 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 62 to reach 44,845 on Monday, September 7 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. The small number of new cases is due to the fact that most laboratories don't work on Sunday. Fresh figures also revealed that 32 more people have recovered, while three patients have died from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. A total of 219177 tests have been performed since the beginning of the outbreak, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said. So far, 40121 people have recovered, 900 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 275 others carrying the virus have died from other causes. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
