RA MFA: Azerbaijan jeopardizes regional security

PanARMENIAN.Net - Currently in Warsaw on a formal visit, Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian met Polish Sejm Marshal Bronisław Komorowski and Senate Speaker Bogdan Borusewicz to discuss possibilities of establishing closer ties between Armenian and Polish parliaments.

"The presence of two representatives of Poland's Armenian Community in the Sejm is the best proof of friendship between the two countries. Poland is interested in peace and stability in the South Caucasus and attaches great importance to the settlement of conflicts," Mr. Komorowski said.

For his part, Minister Nalbandian drew the Polish officials' attention to Azerbaijan's armament drive, which hampers resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and jeopardizes regional security.

The sides also focused on the Eastern Partnership and cooperation within the initiative.
