Azerbaijani army targets hospital in Karabakh![]() October 14, 2020 - 18:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani military on Wednesday, October 14 targeted a hospital in Nagorno-Karabakh, where civilians too are receiving treatment, the Karabakh Defense Army reports. The Azerbaijani forces continue violating the ceasefire, which was supposed to begin on October 10. "This is an overt war crime and the Azerbaijani military-political leadership bears full responsibility for its consequences," the Karabakh army said. Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and mercenaries deployed by Ankara, launched a large-scale offensive against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27, shelling Armenian positions and civilian settlements with large caliber weapons and rocket systems. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
