Covid-19: Armenia sets new record with 1371 infections in the past day

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 1371 to reach 59995 on Thursday, October 15 morning – a record number of new infections in a single day – according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 406 more people have recovered, while seven patients have died from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.

A total of 3957 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 47,119 people have recovered, 1046 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 311 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
