Eastern Partnership offers new opportunities for Armenia-EU cooperationFebruary 20, 2009 - 12:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Thursday with EU Special representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby to discuss the current stage of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process, normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations and the Armenia-EU cooperation. "Relations between Armenia and the European Union are developing both in bilateral and multilateral formats," Minister Nalbandian said. Both agreed that the Eastern Partnership offers new opportunities for development of the Armenia-EU cooperation. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
