First teen dies due to Covid-19 in Armenia![]() October 21, 2020 - 12:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Health Authorities reported on Wednesday, October 21 that a 16-year-old girl has died due to Covid-19. This is the country's first death of a child. After a partial removal of a malignant neoplasm (astrocytoma) of the brain, the girl was in a vegetative state (could not speak, could not walk, could not sit, could not communicate). Covid-19 then further aggravated her condition. Doctors took all necessary measures, but the child's life could not be saved, Health Ministry spokeswoman Alina Nikoghosyan said. Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27.
