Back then, several Turkish Air Force F-16s were filmed at the same location at Ganja International Airport.
At least two F-16s were stationed at Ganja International Airport in Azerbaijan as of October 3, a New York Times analysis of a satellite image showed earlier. Investigative journalist Christiaan Triebert said back then that the fighter jets in Ganja were likely operated by the Turkish Air Force, alongside a possible CN-235 cargo aircraft.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27.
