Armenia looking to increase defense research budget to $95 million![]() November 2, 2020 - 17:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - About AMD 4.6 billion (around $95 million) will be allocated to the scientific and technical budget in the field of defense, according to Armenia's draft budget for 2021. In 2020, AMD 3․85 billion or $8 million were allocated to the field. In recent years, defense research spending in Armenia has been growing steadily, increasing from AMD 1.65 billion ($3.3 million) in 2017.
