Tender for NPP new unit construction announced

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Government Purchases agency has announced a tender to select a company to control the construction of a new unit of the Nuclear Power Plant, according to Armenian Ministry of Energy website.



The winner will be offered a contract on "Control and monitoring services in the implementation of new nuclear power unit construction program in Armenia."



Tender applications can be filed in either by physical persons, organizations or foreign citizens. The results will be published within 60 days from the tender declaration date.



Armenian Nuclear Power Plant is situated near Metsamor town and has been functioning since 1976. Only the second 407,5 -megawatt capacity unit is in operation currently.
