Armenia, Lebanon enjoy exemplary relationsFebruary 26, 2009 - 13:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met in Beirut with his Lebanese counterpart Fawzi Salloukh to discuss bilateral relations and development of cooperation between the two countries. Minister Nalbandian voiced hope that his visit will give renewed impetus to the Armenian-Lebanese relations. "Armenia and Lebanon enjoy exemplary relationship," he said. In discussing regional problems, the Ministers stressed inadmissibility of resolution of conflicts by use of force. In the framework of the visit, Minister Nalbandian also met with Catholicos of Cilicia, His Holiness Aram I and representatives of the Armenian community of Lebanon, the RA MFA press office reported.
