Armenia telecom companies to provide services in Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Telecommunications companies operating in Armenia will be able to provide services in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) as well, Karabakh President Arayik Harutyunyan said Thursday, December 3.

Harutyunyan said he has instructed the government to conduct intensive negotiations, which he said can be considered successful so far.

"I can assure that at the beginning of next year we will have communication services like those provided in Armenia," the Karabakh leader said, adding that no extra money will be charged for making or receiving calls while roaming.

After the completion of military hostilities in the region, the authorities of Karabakh are working to restore communications and civilian infrastructure damaged in Azerbaijan's aggression.
