Economic Cooperation Organization summit to open in Tehran March 10February 26, 2009 - 20:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish President Abdullah Gu"l will make a visit to Iran on March 10 to attend the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) summit. Pakistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are members of the organization along with Iran and Turkey. Presidents of these countries are also invited to the summit. The summit aims to boost economic and commercial relations between the member countries. Leaders will also discuss bilateral relations and regional issues, Today's Zaman daily informed.
