OSCE MG preparing presidential meeting

PanARMENIAN.Net - There are serious obstacles to resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the sides will have to take crucial decisions, OSCE Minsk Group Russian Co-chair said.

"The purpose of our regular regional visit is to study positions of the sides and develop a new proposal to be submitted to them. At that, a repeat visit to Azerbaijan is not ruled out after talks in Armenia," Ambassador Yuri Merzlyakov said in Baku.

As to a presidential meeting, the mediator said the issue will be discussed with the heads of state.

"Our agenda includes discussion of venue and date of a presidential meeting. But our primary task is to help resolve the conflict and alleviate its consequences," the diplomat said, RIA Novosti reports.
