"29 years ago, on February 24, 1992, France and Armenia re-established their diplomatic relations," French ambassador to Yerevan Jonathan Lacôte said in a tweet. "An anniversary that we remember every year for a relationship on which many French and Armenians work every day." Both countries are cooperating on the aspects of diplomacy, culture and military. Due to good relations between the two countries, 2006 was proclaimed the Year of Armenia in France.
