Azerbaijan returns remains of 15 Armenians to Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - The remains of 15 Armenian servicemen were returned to the authorities of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on Friday, March 19.

According to a statement from the State Emergency Service of Artsakh, the Azerbaijani side recovered the bodies from the region of Varanda.

The soldiers, who were considered missing, will be identified through DNA analysis.

Since November 13, the rescue teams have found the bodies and remains of 1518 people, including dozens of civilians, who had failed to leave their homes when their settlements went under Azerbaijan's control.
