Two Armenian servicemen go missing in snowstorm

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Army lost communication with two contract servicemen moving from one military base to another during a severe snowstorm on Sunday, March 21, the Defense Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

The statement came amid media reports alleging that the soldiers went missing from a military unit near the city of Jermuk.

The Ministry said a strong blizzard is hampering the search and rescue operations, but added that all necessary measures are being taken to find the military personnel.
