Foreign Ministry proposes giving Armenian passports in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Foreign Ministry has unveiled a draft proposal to give Armenian passports in Armenian diplomatic offices in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq.

Such an opportunity existed before 2020, and the proposal seeks to revive the program, the Foreign Ministry said.

According to the document, the project is being implemented given continuing tensions in said countries, which may make it difficult for Armenians to travel to Armenia and apply for a passport.
