MEP condemns Azerbaijan's new

PanARMENIAN.Net - A “military trophy park”, which among other things displays dummies of Armenian soldiers killed in last year's war in Nagorno-Karabakh, was inaugurated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and condemned by MEP Nikos Androulakis.

In a post on Facebook, the Greek lawmaker denounced the Azerbaijani President who “insults the memory of the Armenian soldiers” by establishing a park of “barbarism.”

“International organizations can't remain silent to these medieval practices that put humanity to shame,” he said.

On April 12, the President of Azerbaijan attended the opening of a “park” dedicated to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war in Baku, where alongside Armenian military equipment seized during hostilities, wax figures of what Azerbaijan claims to be Armenian servicemen, as well as their personal belongings and the helmets of fallen Armenian troops were also displayed.
