PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani side has transferred the remains of one serviceman to Nagono-Karabakh, authorities reported on Wednesday, April 14. According to the Azeri military, the body was recovered from the region of Hadrut, which came under Baku's control during the 44-day war in fall 2020.

The Armenian soldier will be identified through DNA analysis, the State Service for Emergency Situations of Artsakh (Karabakh) revealed.

Since November 13, the rescue teams have found the bodies and remains of 1542 people, including dozens of civilians, who had failed to leave their homes when their settlements went under Azerbaijan's control.
