Armenia's military denies reports it surrendered posts in Syunik

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Defense Ministry on Sunday, April 25 refuted media reports that Armenia has allegedly ceded important strategic positions to Azerbaijan in the southern province of Syunik.

"The Armenian Armed Forces have not surrendered any position to the Azerbaijani side, and are deployed in their posts along the entire border," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The statement also called on media outlets against spreading fake and "bombshell" stories and refrain from activity that could damage the reputation of the Armed Forces.
