In a phone conversation with Putin on Monday, April 26 evening, Macron stressed the "need to make concrete progress on the issue of prisoners of war, humanitarian support and the preservation of heritage" in Artsakh (Karabakh). "The two presidents decided to re-launch efforts within the [OSCE] Minsk Group to achieve a lasting settlement of the situation" and agreed that "concrete initiatives will be taken in this direction in the coming days", the French presidency noted. According to a press release from the Kremlin, the two leaders highlighted that the situation in the region remains calm.
