1553 bodies recovered from Karabakh battlefield since end of war

PanARMENIAN.Net - The remains of 1553 servicemen and civilians have been recovered from territories that went under Azerbaijan's control during the 44-day war in Nagorno-Karabakh in fall 2020, Karabakh (Artsakh) authorities.

However, the rescue teams of the State Service for Emergency Situations did not conduct search operations between May 3 and 9․ In the reporting period, 212 explosives, three anti-tank and 190 cannon projectiles, 49 cluster munitions, 3 air bombs were discovered.

One civilian has been injured in a mine explosion or another type of detonation after the war.
