Kazakhstan extends low import customs duties for Armenia within EAEUMay 13, 2021 - 17:08 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Kazakh lawmakers have ratified a protocol to extend low import customs duties for Armenia on 94 types of goods within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) , Sputnik Kazakhstan reports. Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov noted that the protocol is aimed at implementing agreements on extending the transition period for Armenia until the full implementation of the unified customs tariffs of the Eurasian Economic Union. The document covers customs and tariff regulation applied by the two countries in relation to certain products imported from third countries. The list of exemptions for Armenia consisted of 981 commodity items, including food products, meat, cereals, chemical products, cars, medicines, certain types of equipment, tools and precious stones.
