Armenia, Jordan to begin direct flights in September

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Jordan have agreed to launch direct flights beginning from September, under an agreement reached between the sides in Amman on Monday, May 31.

Fly Jordan, a charter carrier, will be operating the flights, according to information provided by Anriva Tours. The move is expected to boost relations between the two countries, promote tourism and better ties between Armenia and the Diaspora.

Most flights to Armenia were canceled a year ago due to the coronavirus pandemic. In recent months, however, many airlines have resumed operations, with several other entering the Armenian market too.
