Armenia reports no new Covid deaths for first time in over a year

PanARMENIAN.Net - No new deaths from the coronavirus were reported in Armenia on Tuesday, June 8, for the first time in over a year, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 73 to reach 223,285 on Tuesday, June 8 morning. Fresh figures also revealed that 105 more people recovered.

A total of 3067 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 214,609 people have recovered, 4463 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 1091 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
