Pashinyan casts his vote "for the development of Armenia"![]() June 20, 2021 - 13:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan voted in the snap parliamentary elections at a polling station in Yerevan on Sunday, June 20. The caretaker PM was accompanied by his spouse Anna Hakobyan, his son and daughters. He said in a Facebook post that he was voting "for the future of our state and people, for the development of Armenia." Pashinyan came under fire after signing a statement with the Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents to end the war in Nagorno-Karabakh almost 45 days after the start of the military hostilities. Under the deal, the Armenian side was forced to return all the seven regions surrounding Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
