This was spoken about in the course of the regional director of the UNDP on CIS countries Caiman Mizhey's meeting with Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian in Yerevan. The parties discussed the UN possible contribution in the sphere of IT development in Armenia. The importance of both parties' efforts directed at realization of the program on poverty reduction in Armenia was also mentioned. The question of Armenia's participation in the coming international summit on sustainable development in Johannesburg was also discussed at the meeting.Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
