UNDP COOPERATION WITH ARMENIA PROGRESSES SUCCESSFULLY

PanARMENIAN.Net - The cooperation between the United Nations Development Program and Armenia progresses successfully and many programs are being realized in the republic with its assistance. This was spoken about in the course of the regional director of the UNDP on CIS countries Caiman Mizhey's meeting with Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian in Yerevan. The parties discussed the UN possible contribution in the sphere of IT development in Armenia. The importance of both parties' efforts directed at realization of the program on poverty reduction in Armenia was also mentioned. The question of Armenia's participation in the coming international summit on sustainable development in Johannesburg was also discussed at the meeting.
