PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani forces opened fire on the Armenian positions stationed in border areas of Gegharkunik province in the wee hours of Monday, July 26. No casualties were registered, the Defense Ministry reports.

Later in the day, the Azeris violated the ceasefire from Nakhijevan too, using various caliber weapons to shell the Armenian positions in Yeraskh, Ararat province. The Armenian side took suppressive measures, the Defense Ministry says.

Yerevan earlier denied reports from Baku, alleging that Armenian troops had purportedly targeted Azerbaijani positions.
