Armenia recalls Israel ambassador

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armen Smbatyan has been recalled from the post of the Ambassador of Armenia to Israel, according to a decree signed by the President.

The decision came upon the proposal of the country's Prime Minister, as do all such decisions.

Smbatyan was appointed the Armenian Ambassador to Israel on March 31, 2018. During the war in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Armenian Foreign Ministry decided to recall him for consultations on on October 1, 2020.
