  Karabakh army foils Azerbaijan's attempt to violate contact line August 12, 2021 - 17:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani units attempted to cross the contact line in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in the wee hours of Thursday, August 12, the Defense Army reports. The Armenian side took suppressive measures and threw the Azerbaijanis back to their positions. No casualties were reported. The Russian peacekeeping contingent deployed in Nagorno-Karabakh since the end of hostilities in late 2020 were immediately notified about the incident. Azerbaijan has been actively violating the ceasefire with both Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh in the past days, firing from various caliber weapons and even using suicide drones.
