Azerbaijan readying for provocations by spreading lies, says Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan is disseminating false statements to prepare the ground for further provocations, the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army said on Friday, August 13.

The Armenian side denied reports from Baku that the Karabakh troops allegedly opened fire on the Azerbaijani positions on Friday night.

"The units of the Defense Army strictly observe the ceasefire and take retaliatory actions only to counter the Azerbaijani provocations," the Armenian side's statement reads.

On Thursday, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed Azerbaijan's ceasefire violations against Artsakh. It said the Azerbaijani armed forces delivered two strikes with the use of combat quadcopters on the position of the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh.
