Azerbaijan, Turkey hold joint military exercises in Baku

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish and Azerbaijani commandos launched joint military exercises Thursday, September 2 in accordance with an agreement on military cooperation between the two countries, Daily Sabah cited the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry as saying on Friday.

Service members of the two countries kicked off the exercises in Azerbaijan's capital Baku, which will run through September 12, the ministry said.

According to official information, tasks on conducting underwater attack and defense operations will also be accomplished.
