  Prosperous Armenia party ready for Yerevan Mayor electionMarch 20, 2009 - 23:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Prosperous Armenia party has already announced readiness for the forthcoming election of Mayor of Yerevan. "The party members have discussed all candidacies and reached a unanimous decision," a source in the party told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. Health Minister Harutyun Kushkyan tops the party slate. He is followed by member of parliament Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan and lecturer of Yerevan State University Margarita Matevosyan. "Yerevan needs purity and healthy atmosphere. Our party has selected highly professional candidates," the source said.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
