  Armenia army chief, U.S. Defense Attaché discuss army reform, Karabakh September 16, 2021 - 14:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Chief of the Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan met the newly appointed U.S. Defense Attaché to Armenia, Colonel Gregory Pipes on Wednesday, September 15. Issues related to the security situation in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) after the end of the hostilities and the reforms of the Armed Forces were discussed during the meeting. The parties reaffirmed their readiness to develop the Armenian-American military cooperation, emphasizing that the current programs should be continued, new mutually beneficial directions should be initiated. Davtyan also congratulated Colonel Pipes on assuming the post of U.S. Defense Attaché and wished him productive work.
