Armenia holding large-scale drills with army special forces

PanARMENIAN.Net - The special units of the Armenian Armed Forces are holding major drills with specially designed operations along the entire eastern and southeastern border of the country, the Ministry of Defense reports.

After clarifying the course and sequence of combat tasks, as well as the details of cooperation, the servicemen of the special units proceeded to the fulfillment of their training tasks. Special tactical trainings were organized in conditions as close to a combat situation as possible, the Ministry said.

The servicemen also practiced lying in ambush, attacking, detecting and destroying potential military objects of the conventional enemy, occupying favorable positions and other tasks.

In another direction, the special forces overcame a difficult terrain, attacked the strongly-guarded strategic object, destroyed the manpower, confiscated the documents and weapons, and returned.
