Caparrós: Another Armenian player close to transferring to La Liga

PanARMENIAN.Net - One more player from the Armenian squad is on the cusp of transferring to La Liga, national team head coach Joaquín Caparrós said in an interview with the Public Television on Tuesday, September 28.

Varazdat Haroyan from the Armenian national team joined Cádiz in May. On September 26, Haroyan made history by becoming the first Armenian player ever to score in La Liga, when facing Rayo Vallecano.

"I can say with confidence that other players too will be transferred to the Spanish championship. There's another football player from the Armenian national team, who is close to moving to La Liga. I can not reveal his name," Caparrós said.

According to him, the better the team performs, the more players will get the chance to play at La Liga. The head coach also noted that it is a great pleasure for him to work with the Armenian squad, because he said they have a competitive spirit and are eager to do everything for their team.
