Putin on Monday, October 18 addressed a message to the participants and guests of the VIII Russian-Armenian Interregional Forum and said relations between the two countries are based on centuries-old traditions of friendship and mutual respect. "Interregional cooperation plays a very significant role in the development of Russian-Armenian ties, which makes it possible to implement mutually beneficial projects in the economic, social, infrastructural, humanitarian and many other spheres," Putin said in the message published by the Kremlin.
