Azerbaijani police deployed on the road detained the truck drivers on the Goris-Kapan highway in Armenia's Syunik province on September 15, accusing them of transporting goods to Nagorno-Karabakh. Azerbaijanis are checking Iranian trucks passing along this road, demanding payments from drivers. Since then, relations between Tehran and Baku have deteriorated sharply.
