Karabakh independence achievable, State Minister says![]() October 26, 2021 - 14:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Artsakh State Minister Artak Beglaryan has said that his country will be able to reach a final settlement of the conflict and achieve international recognition and independence. Beglaryan made the remarks during his visit to Fresno, United States on October 23, maintaining that the people of Artsakh are determined to live and create in freedom. The State Minister detailed the current political and humanitarian situation in Artsakh, as well as future programs. The State Minister emphasized the important role of the Diaspora in the past of Artsakh, expressing confidence that the joint efforts of all Armenians for the future restoration and development will continue. He stressed that the Diaspora is expected to contribute with what he described as "human capital", which he said can create serious opportunities for the long-term development and strengthening of the homeland. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
