Russia confirms Azerbaijanis murdered Karabakh civilian

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed the murder of a Nagorno-Karabakh civilian by the Azerbaijani military. The Russian side said one ceasefire violation was registered in the past week in the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers.

"On November 8, a group of four workers from Nagorno-Karabakh was fired on from the Azerbaijani side, as a result of which three people were injured and one was killed," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

"The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, together with the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides, is investigating the incident."

On October 9, another civilian from Karabakh, Aram Tepnunts (b.1966), was killed by an Azerbaijani sniper while working in his orchard near the town of Martakert.
