Putin discusses Pashinyan–Aliyev summit with Security Council![]() November 27, 2021 - 12:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with permanent members of the Russian Security Council the results of negotiations with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. “I will briefly inform you about the results of my discussions with the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia on the Karabakh settlement and on the agreements that were reached during today's work with my colleagues,” the head of state addressed the meeting participants. “Let's talk in more detail about the whole range of relations with our closest partners and closest neighbors, I mean relations with the CIS countries,” Putin said. Pashinyan, Putin and Aliyev held a summit in Sochi on Friday, November 26, with Putin describing the meeting as "productive". ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
