Armenia, Belarus agree to boost high-tech cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Minister of Armenia's High-Tech Industry Vahagn Khachaturyan on Thursday, December 3 hosted the Ambassador of Belarus to Yerevan Alexander Konyuk.

Khachaturian introduced the potential of the technological sector of Armenia to the ambassador, the programs carried out by the Ministry on the formation and development of a technology-based economy. Khachaturian said he highly appreciates the experience and achievements of Belarus in the field of technology, expressing confidence that there are all the prerequisites for the introduction of new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.

The ambassador noted the successful cooperation between Belarus and Armenia in various fields, and stressed that the Belarusian side is interested in strengthening cooperation, especially in the field of high technologies.

Konyuk also proposed developing an algorithm for cooperation.
