"Turkey and Russia have much in common. Bearing the EU and U.S. a grudge, both countries can do a good job together," Irina Khakamada told Cihan news agency. Turkey can facilitate settlement of regional problems, according to her. "Turkish President Abdullah Gul's visit to Yerevan was an important step for establishment of peace and stability in the region. Ankara can also mediate problems between Armenia and Azerbaijan," she said. "If Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Turkey combine efforts, all problems will be resolved," Khakamada said. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
