Tatoyan raises blocking of Monte Melkonyan ifo with Facebook

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan has raised Facebook's blocking of pages with photos and information about Monte Melkonian, an Armenian commander and national hero, with the company's administration.

"This is all the more unacceptable, since Monte is a symbol of patriotism and selfless service to the Motherland for Armenians around the world," Tatoyan wrote on his Facebook page.

The clarifications sent to Facebook provided data on how Monte is mentioned in school and university textbooks in Armenia.

Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) State Minister Artak Beglaryan earlier raised the issue, saying that various attacks on is Facebook page have recently become more frequent.
