Rapprochement with Turkey will improve border situation – Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan believes the normalization of relations with Turkey will have a positive impact on the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, Sputnik Armenia reports.

Mirzoyan told reporters on Thursday, February 3 that the normalization of relations usually has a positive effect on the entire region and on parallel processes.

At the same time, Mirzoyan commented on the Armenian side's possible participation the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey. In particular, he stated that there is no deadline for making a decision, and that Yerevan will notify Turkey of its decision in due time.

Mirzoyan said Wednesday that he sees no problem in Armenia's possible participation in the Forum and added that the matter is still being discussed.

The upcoming edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum will be held on March 11-13.
