Composer Artur Grigoryan dies aged 63

PanARMENIAN.Net - People's Artist of Armenia, singer and composer Artur Grigoryan has died at the age of 63, singer Ara Martirosyan said on Facebook Friday, February 4.

A celebrated composer, Grigoryan was the Head of the State Song Theater of Armenia. On his 60th birthday, he was awarded Mesrop Mashtots medal for his great contribution in music.

Throughout his life, he wrote a number of songs that went on to become hits, as well as created and oversaw some large-scale productions and projects.
