Armenia administering locally produced Sputnik Light vaccines

PanARMENIAN.Net - About 25,000 doses of the Sputnik Light vaccine have been manufactured in Armenia since production was launched in the country. According to Liqvor Pharmaceuticals, the shots have been sent to the Ministry of Health, Sputnik Armenia reports.

A representative from the company also emphasized that the Sputnik Light vaccine is being produced in Armenia on the basis of an agreement with Russia.

"On all our subsequent transactions, a confidentiality agreement was concluded with the [Russian Direct Investment Fund]," they said.

The Ministry of confirmed receiving the doses and said that they are being administered throughout the country.

Almost 2 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered in Armenia since the beginning of the vaccination program in the country, health authorities said on Monday, February 21. According to the Ministry of health, 896723 people, predominantly adults, have been fully vaccinated in the country.
